    The Rosamarina is a fish marinated in oil with red pepper, eaten with bread; it is very popular in the region of Cosenza. The most famous entree (secondo) is saltimbocca alla Romana - veal escalopes cooked in wine with herbs. Vegetables and salads are eaten separately. Typical Calabrian products are also ricotta cheese, pecorino (ewe) cheese, salami. Wines are Bivongi Riserva, Greco di Bianco, Cirò, Lamezia, Melissa bianco, Savuto. Macaroni with cauliflower and anchovies, Spaghetti with Black Cuttlefish ink, Penne all'Arrabbiata are some other common foods in Calabria.
